Al Ain, known as the Garden City is one of the oldest settlements in the region. It is a stunningly green city with an incredible number of public parks and numerous green houses. Al Ain is one of the agricultural of the Emirates and also a university town and the birth place of the President of the UAE. It is surrounded by magnificent red sand dunes and overlooked by an impressive mountain range.
During Al Ain tour you will experience the most important museum in the UAE where you can see artifacts from a famous excavation site nearby, ancient Arabic manuscripts and royal treasures. Next is a trip to the quaint camel market where you have a good opportunity to observe these extraordinary “ships of desert”.
We continue the tour with a visit to the nearby oasis. The village is an exciting experience with its old forts, date palm groves and 2000-year-old irrigation systems called Falaj, which are still in use. A buffet lunch will be offered then we proceed to Hili gardens, the excavation site of a tomb dating back 3000 B.C. and other archaeological discoveries.
